CEAR La Cartuja – Seville

On the banks of the Guadalquivir, in the city of Seville, the Spanish Winter Sprint Championship was held, organized by the Royal Spanish Canoeing Federation at the CEAR La Cartuja. Considered by specialists as the best regatta course based on water level and climate, the Specialized High Performance Rowing and Canoeing Center has been the scene of the demanding qualifying events on Saturday and the exciting finals on Sunday. Next to the Puente del Alamillo, our paddlers María Reus and Josep Joan Cifre, in the K1 sub23 men’s and women’s finals respectively and in the 5,000 meter sprint distance, have once again consolidated their great form by confronting the best in this specialty.
