OPTIMIST – ILCA 4 – ILCA 6
In the waters of the Bay of Palma de Mallorca, organized by the Royal Nautical Club of Palma with the collaboration of the Balearic Sailing Federation and sponsored by Pro-Rigging, a Mallorcan company specialized in rigging, hardware, hydraulics and cables for all types of boats For more than two decades, the well-known trophy has been completed.
137 Optimist, 37 ILCA 4 and 22 ILCA 6 had a very tough first day, in very windy conditions with gusts of 30 knots from the NE, forcing the Race Committee to suspend the day to guarantee the safety of the large fleet, having raced a single test. However, a peaceful Sunday would lead to two competitive regattas. The Sailing Club teams were in full force, highlighting the performance of Natalia Krupska, 3rd female sub16 in Optimist, Sara Sbert, 3rd female sub16 in ILCA 4 and Eduardo Light and Hugo Rosselló, 4th and 5th male sub19 respectively in ILCA 6.
