ILCA EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP

In the place where the Olympic flame was born, the European ILCA Senior, a qualifying regatta for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, has concluded today for the 142 most outstanding sailors on the continent. Organized in Greece by the Kalamaki Nautical Club, the EurILCA and the World Sailing Association at the Alimos Marina, there have been six days in which the Race Committee has fought against very unfavorable weather conditions, from little to no wind. Between extreme roles, atmospheric instability, calms and postponements on land and cancellations in the open sea, only three of them have been favorable to complete the necessary tests to validate the title and the Olympic places. For the Sailing Club, Mario Plomer has completed his journey in twentieth place in the Silver group and Yago Huercanos, with a victory in the final regatta, twelfth in the Bronze group
